Robin's Handmade Quilt Art

Welcome!  Thanks for visiting www.croteau.com.  My interest in quilting started about fifteen years ago when I took a few basic machine quilting classes with a few friends at a local community center when my kids were very young.   I was so pleased on how I could create such beautiful, traditional bed quilts that it then flourished into a passion for quilted landscape wallhangings.  I found that I had a hard time finding pictures for my house that weren't so duplicated and generic that I decided to be creative and make my own wallhangings out of fabric.  My wallhangings are inspired by a class I took using the book, "Landscape Designs" by Natalie Sewell and Nancy Zieman.  My passions of nature and golf also inspire my designs.

 I am the youngest girl of a large family of nine kids, and have many neices and nephews.  My experience comes from all the Christmas wallhangings, wedding, graduation, memory, and baby gifts that  I have made over the years.  I have made over a 100 quilts of all sizes for every occasion for my family that will bring memories and pleasure from the heart.   My kids are grown, and I am still making quilts for my grandson and for my neices and nephews kids!
